2017 Power Rankings - Week 13

Rank (LW) Logo Team Record Rating Comment
1 (1) ANC 7-5 91.40 The Ice Knights are the third team to qualify for the playoffs. They made easy work of Los Angeles with everyone contributing double digits except for Engram. For the second straight week, he laid a turd scoring 1 point. This comes off a 5-week span where his lowest total was 13 points.
2 (2) SF 7-5 85.78 The Rattlesnakes have rattled off 4 straight wins to keep pace with the Ice Knights. It was definitely not their prettiest victory as they finished the week with 88 points. San Francisco saw their 8-game 100 point streak snapped too. Baldwin and Lee were duds at WR combining for 3 points.
3 (4) SD 9-3 81.44 The Surge have now lost 2 straight games to drop their record to 9-3. Samaje Perine got his first start of the season and was an All-Star filling in for Devonte Freeman. In fact, he led San Diego in scoring with 23 points. The wideout/tight end trio struggled and combined to score 10 points.
4 (3) LA 6-6 81.31 The Bombers had a chance to clinch a playoff spot but failed. They were south of the 100 point mark by 2 points. Jared Goff is proving that he is a viable fantasy QB scoring 37 points averaging 30 points over 6 weeks. Kareem Hunt has struggled scoring 107 points over the last 9 games, falling from 110 points in the first 3 games.
5 (5) ND 5-7 80.60 The Nimrods scored the second highest total for the season with 171, a mere 2 points shy of the benchmark. That also means for the second consecutive week, North Dakota was the highest scoring team. They are the only team in the league to score over 300 points for 2 combined weeks.
6 (6) TB 9-3 74.19 The Blizzard finally lost to a team that was not the Surge. Prior to this week, Tampa Bay was 0-2 vs. the Surge and 9-0 vs. the rest of the league. Tevin Coleman finally had a chance to showcase without fighting for touches with Freeman. He finished the day 26 points on 19 carries and 2 touchdowns.
7 (8) SH 6-6 73.93 The Hooligans exploded for 169 points to dismantle the Triumph by 81 points. Sunday started with a bang when Julio Jones went off for 58 points which is 11 points more than the next best WR this season. Burkhead, Jones, and Rudolph each had 2 TD's to help pad the stats.
8 (7) DET 5-7 72.72 Uh oh. The champs have gone on a 3-game losing streak and currently own the last playoff spot. The Devils had a huge day from Rivers and Ertz who combined for 80 points which couldn't overcome their opponent's 171 point outing. Detroit is 0-3 since Zeke started serving his suspension.
9 (11) FW 5-7 61.31 Fort Wayne has put themselves on the door step of the playoffs. They had their best score of the season with 121 points as they have gradually been improving since week 7. They went the first 7 games without breaking 100 points but now have 5 straight 100+ games to currently lead the league.
10 (12) ATL 4-8 59.49 The Jesters had an 89 point improvement from the week before and because of it, Atlanta keeps their playoff dreams alive. Every positional player scored a touchdown and their kicker had a 19 point day. The lone downfall was the Rams Defense who contributed 5 points without a turnover.
11 (10) CHI 3-9 59.15 The Triumph's playoff hopes are hanging by a thread. They obviously need to win out and need lots of help to make the field. Tom Brady was the only one to score a touchdown and he did that 4 times. But he uncharacteristically turned the ball over 2 times.
12 (9) DEN 6-6 58.09 The Diamonds are back to being the lowest scoring team again. That makes Denver a 5-time, 5-time, 5-time, 5-time, 5-time lowest scorer. McCown was over half the teams's production scoring 38 of the team's 63. DeMarco Murray was the next best scoring 9 points. The Denver backfield combined for 15 yards rushing.
